The ubiquitous ranch house, an icon of the American dream, was revived here with a palette of modern solutions to outdoor living. A new garage, workshop, outdoor entertainment area, kitchen, bar, and exterior-accessible bathroom expand the home’s living space to the outdoors. A terraced stone patio, brick patio walls, and cedar trellis give definition to the exterior space. In collaboration with interior designer, Laura Stearns of Studio 21 Interiors, the exterior of the home was given a facelift front and back, fitting the aesthetic tastes of the owner and enhancing the curb appeal and usability of the home.
